We just got to the beach tonight and I am so excited! The promise of another great family vacation is so gratifying after a long week at work. We all walked out to the beach tonight to check it out, and going out in the early evening is my favorite time of day. There was a nice breeze and the sand was cool and Peyton's excitement for picking up shells was funny. I was worried after the sand box episodes that she wouldn't even go on the sand which would make for a boring trip to the beach, but luckily she was fascinated by all the shells and even said "shells" when we came back inside. (She also has begun to say yogurt and ribbit lately.)
