On Saturday, we went to our first kids consignment sale. Hoping to find great deals on spring and summer clothing, we got there at 9:30am and I went to the clothes racks while Jamie and Peyton checked out the toys. After about 15 minutes, they found me and Jamie realized that the line was probably 100 people long. So he got in line with some of my items and Peyton and I continued looking. (Well, she ate vanilla wafers while I continued looking.) Needless to say, we had plenty of time to browse as we kept checking in with Jamie's progress in line and it was slow going. All I can say is he was a real trooper and I think some of the other women there were jealous that I had a husband willing to be patient for a bargain. And we did get great deals. 12 outfits, including a Tommy Hilfiger dress for $4, an Easter dress for $6, several shorts/shirt sets for $2,$3, and $4, a brand new Children's Place dress for $4, and Osh Kosh pink and white striped overalls (the short ones and the dress one) for $2 and $4, respectively. And Peyton got a pink Gap hat, a new purse, a book and a stuffed dog with a GIANT head that you pet it and it barks and wags its tail.
I will post a picture of that later!
Also, on Sunday, we realized we might be getting snow, so we waited inside, impatiently flipping back and forth to the weather channel (thanks to wanna-be meteorologist Jamie) waiting for it to change from rain to snow. Finally it did around 4 or 5 I guess.
In the mean time, Peyton and I built this amazing, structurally sound mega blocks tower.
Then we waited through the night to see how much we would really get and praying Jamie wouldn't have to go to work today. But he did despite the 3-4 inches we got. Below are some pictures.
The hill behind the apartment that we would have sledded down if we had our sled.

Peyton and I went outside to play in it, but she really didn't like it. Her feet were sinking so far down when she walked the snow was getting in her shoes. So here are the best photos I could get, along with the small, pitiful snowman I built (it is harder than I remember.) But she seemed to enjoy watching me suffer building it.
The most peaceful picture I got.
I realize the snowman is smaller than her, but it was the best I could do without proper gloves and given the fact that she was yelling at me.
