I am trying to broaden Peyton's horizon of food that she will eat. Today we tried blackberries and also whole wheat bread with grape jelly. If her face could spell out the words she was thinking, she didn't just say "no" to blackberries, she said "heck no." She enjoyed mushing them with her fingers and making the juice go everywhere, but as far as eating them, "heck no."
She liked the jelly but didn't actually eat the bread. I guess it serves me right for having a picky eater child because I was one too. I'm sorry, Mom!
It is so frustrating! I can't get her to eat any meats or protein! Not chicken, hamburger, turkey, ham, eggs, bacon, hot dog- nothing! Any ideas?
All she wants to eat is peas, corn, cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, crackers, or mac and cheese. Occasionally potatoes, carrots, noodles, bread. At least she drinks lots of milk!
I guess I will go google baby websites some more for ideas! I did hide some carrots in a grilled cheese sandwich and she ate it!!!
