The little things

I decided to update the world on all the little things Peyton is doing these days that makes us laugh or be amazed...
- She says "ssh" and puts her index finger over her lips.
- She is starting to feed herself with her spoons and forks. So far she can do peas, corn, applesauce, and mac and cheese. I think it is going pretty well so far.
- If she is looking for something, she puts her hands out to her side and says "Where did it go?"
- She brings a book to me, I read it, then she takes it to Jamie for him to read. then she brings it back to me and the cycle goes on and on until we say "Go get another book."
- She puts her new blocks together, claps, and then takes them back apart.
- When we say time to go, she walks to the front door and waits, whether or not she is even dressed to go.
- She points to her nose, mouth, ear, tongue, and hair.
- When we sing "If you're happy and you know it" she claps at the right time.
- New words she currently knows (or we think she knows):
daddy
wall
whoa
shoes
ball
you're welcome
no
i don't know
i love you
uh-oh

One word she doesn't seem to know what it means: no
Jamie and I will both tell her no when she is doing something dangerous like shaking the end table so the lamp falls over, and she just looks at us and keeps doing it. We are working on that.

These things might be little, but they sure do mean the world to us! Have a great day!
